BASE Dermatology Clinic (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") establishes and discloses the following personal information processing guidelines in accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act, in order to protect the personal information of data subjects and to handle related grievances promptly and smoothly.
The Company processes personal information for the following purposes. Personal information being processed shall not be used for any purpose other than the following, and if the purpose of use changes, necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent shall be taken in accordance with Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
1. Website membership registration and management
Personal information is processed for the purposes of confirming membership registration intent, identification and authentication for membership services, maintaining and managing membership status, identity verification under the limited identity verification system, preventing unauthorized use of services, confirming legal guardian consent for processing personal information of children under 14, various notifications, and grievance handling.
2. Provision of goods or services
Personal information is processed for the purposes of delivering goods, providing services, sending contracts and invoices, providing content, providing customized services, identity verification, age verification, payment processing and settlement, and debt collection.
3. Grievance handling
Personal information is processed for the purposes of verifying the identity of complainants, confirming grievance details, contacting and notifying for fact-finding investigations, and notifying of processing results.
① The Company processes and retains personal information within the retention and use period prescribed by law or within the retention and use period consented to by the data subject at the time of collection.
② The processing and retention periods for each category of personal information are as follows.
1. Website membership registration and management: Until withdrawal from the website
However, in the following cases, until the end of the relevant reason:
1) If an investigation related to a violation of applicable laws is in progress, until the end of such investigation
2) If any credit or debt relationship arising from website use remains, until the settlement of such credit or debt relationship
① Data subjects may exercise the following rights related to personal information protection against the Company at any time:
1. Request to access personal information
2. Request for correction in case of errors
3. Request for deletion
4. Request to suspend processing
② The exercise of rights under Paragraph 1 may be made to the Company in writing, by telephone, email, or fax, and the Company shall take action without delay.
③ If a data subject requests correction or deletion of errors in personal information, the Company shall not use or provide such personal information until the correction or deletion is completed.
④ The exercise of rights under Paragraph 1 may be made through an agent such as a legal guardian or an authorized representative of the data subject. In such cases, a power of attorney in accordance with the form prescribed in Annexed Form No. 11 of the Enforcement Rules of the Personal Information Protection Act must be submitted.
⑤ Data subjects shall not infringe upon the personal information or privacy of themselves or others being processed by the Company in violation of the Personal Information Protection Act or other applicable laws.
The Company processes the following categories of personal information.
1. Website membership registration and management

2. Provision of goods or services
Required items: Name, ID, password, address, phone number, email address
3. The following personal information items may be automatically generated and collected during the use of internet services:
IP address, cookies, MAC address, service usage records, visit records, records of improper use, etc.
① The Company shall destroy personal information without delay when it becomes unnecessary, such as upon expiration of the retention period or achievement of the processing purpose.
② If personal information must continue to be retained pursuant to other laws despite the expiration of the consented retention period or achievement of the processing purpose, such personal information shall be transferred to a separate database (DB) or stored in a different location.
③ The procedures and methods for destroying personal information are as follows:
1. Destruction procedure: The Company selects personal information for which grounds for destruction have arisen and destroys such personal information with the approval of the Company's Personal Information Protection Officer.
2. Destruction method: Personal information recorded and stored in electronic file format is destroyed using methods such as Low Level Format to prevent reproduction, and personal information recorded and stored in paper documents is destroyed by shredding or incineration.
The Company takes the following measures to ensure the security of personal information:
1. Administrative measures: Establishment and implementation of internal management plans, regular employee training, etc.
2. Technical measures: Management of access rights to personal information processing systems, installation of access control systems, encryption of unique identification information, installation of security programs
3. Physical measures: Access control for computer rooms, document storage rooms, etc.
① The Company uses "cookies" that store and retrieve usage information to provide individualized customized services to users.
② A cookie is a small piece of information sent by the server (HTTP) operating the website to the user's computer browser and may also be stored on the hard disk of the user's computer.
a. Purpose of using cookies: Cookies are used to analyze visit and usage patterns for each service and website visited, popular search terms, security connection status, etc., in order to provide optimized information to users.

This Privacy Policy is effective as of August 5, 2024.
These Terms of Use are intended to stipulate all matters regarding the terms and conditions and operation of the services of "BASE Dermatology Clinic" (hereinafter referred to as the "Site").
The definitions of key terms used in these Terms are as follows.
① Member: A person who has agreed to the Terms of the Site, provided personal information, and registered as a member, who has entered into a service agreement with the Site and uses the Site.
② Service Agreement: An agreement entered into between the Site and a member regarding the use of the Site.
③ Member ID (hereinafter "ID"): A unique combination of letters and numbers assigned to each member for identification and service use purposes.
④ Password: A combination of letters and numbers selected by the member to verify identity matching with the assigned ID and to protect the member's rights and interests.
⑤ Operator: The operator who establishes and operates a website for the service.
⑥ Termination: The act of a member canceling the service agreement.
The Operator may separately announce operational policies when necessary, and in the event of conflict between these Terms and the operational policies, the operational policies shall prevail.
① The service agreement is established when a person who wishes to register as a member and use the Site agrees to the contents of these Terms and the Operator approves the membership application.
② A person who wishes to register as a member and use the services shall express their agreement to these Terms by reading these Terms at the time of membership application and selecting "I agree" below.
① Users who wish to register as members and use the Site must provide all required information (user ID, password, nickname, etc.) requested by the Site.
② Members who have not registered their true information, such as by misappropriating others' information or registering false information, cannot claim any rights in relation to the use of the Site and may be subject to penalties under applicable laws.
The Site and the Operator do not retain the password among the personal information provided at the time of membership registration, and the related matters shall follow the Site's Privacy Policy. The Operator endeavors to protect members' personal information, including membership registration information, in accordance with applicable laws. However, the Operator assumes no liability for information exposed due to reasons attributable to the member.
① The Operator shall process opinions or complaints raised by members as quickly as possible when deemed legitimate.
② The Operator may request the Site to repair or restore equipment without delay in the event of failure or loss in order to provide continuous and stable service.
① Members shall comply with the matters stipulated in these Terms, all regulations, announcements, and operational policies established by the Operator and announced on the Site, as well as applicable laws.
② Members may not transfer, gift, or pledge the right to use the service or any other status under the service agreement to others without the explicit consent of the Site.
③ Users shall exercise due care in managing their IDs and passwords.
④ Members shall not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of the Operator, the Site, or third parties.
① The service shall be available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, unless there are special operational or technical impediments.
② However, the Site may temporarily or permanently suspend services without prior notice in cases of urgent system maintenance, expansion, replacement, malfunction, or failure.
① If a member wishes to terminate the service agreement with the Site, the member must apply for cancellation of registration online.
② Upon application for termination, site-related programs provided by the Site shall be automatically deleted from the member management screen.
Members shall not engage in any of the following acts, and the Site may restrict service use and take lawful action if such acts are committed:
① Registering false information at the time of membership registration or when modifying information after registration
② Interfering with another person's use of the Site or misappropriating their information
③ Impersonating the Site's management, employees, or related parties
④ Infringing upon the personal rights or intellectual property rights of the Site or third parties, or interfering with their business
⑤ Unauthorized use of another member's ID
⑥ Collecting, storing, or disclosing personal information of other members without their consent
⑦ Acts objectively deemed to be associated with criminal activity
⑧ Other acts in violation of applicable laws
① The responsibility for managing and operating posts and materials on the Site lies with the Operator.
② In the event of a correction request from a public institution such as the Information and Communications Ethics Committee, the Operator may delete or move posts without the prior consent of the member.
If the Site operator must discontinue the Site due to unavoidable circumstances, the operator shall provide prior notice to members and make every effort to facilitate the transfer of posts.
① The copyright of posts published by a member on the Site belongs to the member who posted them.
② Members may not commercially use materials posted on the service, including arbitrarily processing or selling information obtained through the use of the service.
① All civil and criminal liability arising from the Site shall primarily rest with the member.
② No damages shall be compensated when the damage suffered by the member from the Site was caused by force majeure such as natural disasters, or by the member's willful misconduct or negligence.
① The Operator shall be exempt from liability for damages arising from the member's failure to obtain expected benefits from the Site's services, or from the selection or use of service materials.
② The Operator shall be exempt from liability in the event of disruptions to the Site's service infrastructure or telecommunication services provided by other carriers.
Addendum
These Terms shall be effective from the date of the Site's establishment.
